CHAMPION SUFFOLK EWE
Sidney Mcallister
West Manchester, OH
MacCauley 4757
Bred by: MacCauley
Sired by: MacCauley 3836
Reasons from Judge Greg Ahart:
Pretty headed, long bodied, so smooth in the way she ties together in her body part transitions. I’m pretty fond of this one.
RESERVE CHAMPION SUFFOLK EWE
Emily Bollinger
Reinholds, PA
MacCauley 4731
Bred by: MacCauley
Sired by: MacCauley 4283QR
Reasons from Judge Greg Ahart:
She may not like to show, but she’s a beast! Most muscle I’ve seen so far today. I wish she didn’t want to over-brace as much as she does. It ends up making her look a bit off in both her neck set as well as how she hooks together from her loin into her hip.
3rd OVERALL SUFFOLK EWE
Raesa Zelinsky
Brookings, SD
17
Bred by: Bar-Zel Suffolks
Sired by: MacCauley 3248 SPOT
Reasons from Judge Greg Ahart:
This ewe is a beast. Huge foot and wide based. Along with that, a big old rib cage that is sprung deep and wide. I really like the hair coat and transition from black to white when we think about breed type. She simply has more pounds and power than any other sheep in this class.
4th OVERALL SUFFOLK EWE
Sidney Mcallister
West Manchester, OH
MacCauley 4848
Bred by: MacCauley
Sired by: MacCauley 3708
Reasons from Judge Greg Ahart:
Gorgeous ear and head. I love the top view when she has the correct meat animal shape, getting progressively wider from shoulder to hip. If I were going to change I’d like to drop her a bit in her rear flank when we look at her from the side view. Might be as easy as showing her just a tick fuller.
5th OVERALL SUFFOLK EWE
Adisyn Sheets
Perry, OK
MacCauley 4413
Bred by: MacCauley
Sired by: MacCauley 3708
Reasons from Judge Greg Ahart:
Plenty of frame size, and she’s stout and wide. I wish she’d come out of her shoulder with her neck set a bit higher, but there’s quite a bit of good in this sheep.
Suffolk Rams
CHAMPION SUFFOLK RAM
Allee Hoover
Washington, PA
MacCauley 4803
Bred by: MacCauley
Sired by: MacCauley 3356
Reasons from Judge Greg Ahart:
This is a big footed, stout made, really pretty headed ram. While not as long sided as the buck in 2nd, there’s a ton of use and quality to this sheep.
RESERVE CHAMPION SUFFOLK RAM

Bred by: Bar-Zel Suffolks
Sired by: MacCauley Suffolks 3248 SPOT
Reasons from Judge Greg Ahart:
I really appreciate the stoutness of his bonework as well as the overall length of body.
Tunis Ewes
CHAMPION TUNIS EWE
Evan Neumeister
Greenfield, IN
MacCauley 1903
Bred by: KMT
Sired by: Spilde 2935
Reasons from Judge Greg Ahart:
Very pretty, very feminine female. I would like to open up her hock set from behind, but other than that a very fault free ewe.
RESERVE CHAMPION TUNIS EWE
Joshua Menard
Harrington, DE
MacCauley 1916
Bred by: KMT
Sired by: Spilde 2935 “Dakota Red”
Reasons from Judge Greg Ahart:
Very pretty, very feminine female. I would like to open up her hock set from behind, but other than that a very fault free ewe.
Tunis Rams
CHAMPION TUNIS RAM
Evan Neumeister
Greenfield, IN
MacCauley 2009
Bred by: KMT
Sired by: “Butch”
Reasons from Judge Greg Ahart:
A very highly presented ram that is correct and balanced.
RESERVE CHAMPION TUNIS RAM
Joshua Menard
Harrington, DE
MacCauley 1901
Bred by: KMT
Sired by: Spilde 2935 “Dakota Red”
Reasons from Judge Greg Ahart:
While this ram may have a maturity advantage, of the pair he is the thicker made and stouter featured buck.
